Job summary

Allied Universal in Broomfield, CO is seeking a part-time Security Officer-Cleared to protect client sites across aerospace/defense sectors. You will perform security procedures, monitor access and alarms, coordinate responses, and maintain logs while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and coordinate communications, dispatch personnel and resources, and maintain logs of calls and incidents.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed to site contacts and emergency responders.
• Monitor access-control, alarm, and communication systems; report unusual activity to deter unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, documenting observations.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and coordinate communications, dispatch personnel and resources, and maintain accurate logs of calls, incidents, alarms, and response activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access-control, alarm, and communication systems; report unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the aerospace and defense location and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
