As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, assist with access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Pay Rate: $24.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:0 0 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor entry procedures, and reporting access-control concerns in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
