Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Full Time Clearance Required in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement. Pay Rate: $24.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM; Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM; Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM; Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid Class B driver's license with a passenger endorsement is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
