Job summary

Copa Health seeks a dedicated Clinical Coordinator to provide clinical supervision and mentorship for the ACT team, ensuring high-quality service plans and outcomes for participants.

You will supervise daily clinical operations, coordinate staffing, and support program budgets while collaborating with the Program Director and external partners. Fluency in English/Spanish is preferred and fingerprint clearance is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field and a minimum of three (3) years of behavioral health work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience of HS/GED and seven (7) years of behavioral health work experience is acceptable.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory/managerial experience required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid AZ Driver’s License with state minimum insurance coverage and ability to meet and maintain Copa Health’s acceptable driving requirements.
  • TB Test clearance required at the time of hire and annually.

Responsibilities

  • Provides and documents administrative supervision, consultation, and mentoring of daily clinical operations for direct reports ensuring that the behavioral needs of recipients are being met and that services are delivered as outlined in each participant’s Comprehensive Assessment/Integrated Service Plan and/or Recovery Plan.
  • With the support of the Program Director, monitors all direct costs incurred and efficiency of spending for programs. Contributes to ensuring that the programs operate within the established fiscal budget and provide input to management for annual budget preparation for programs.
  • Participates in the hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, performance and supervising of Case Managers, all ACTT Team Specialists, and Direct Reports, including approving time sheets and completing performance evaluations.
  • Monitors all ACT staff engagement (productivity) expectations of Direct Reports ensuring that the appropriate array and amount of services are provided to participants and ensures direct reports are documenting service provisions as needed.
  • Ensures that direct reports are providing coordination of care to internal and external provider agencies, state entities or other stakeholders (e.g. probation officers, advocates, family member, hospital staff, jail staff, vocational rehabilitation, etc.) as needed.
  • Cooperate with audits, inspections, and investigations.
  • Available on-call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week unless otherwise scheduled as part of a rotation or in event of a scheduled absence in which coverage is required.

Who We're looking for

Copa Health is seeking a supportive and dependable Clinical Coordinator to join our ACT team. The Clinical Coordinator provides clinical and administrative supervision, training and mentoring for the Active Community Treatment Team (ACT). Ensures clinical quality and productivity standards are met or exceeded by direct reports. Ensures that assessments and integrated service plans are developed and implemented for each participant assigned to their respective team.
