Job summary

Under general supervision, the role supports budgets, vendor coordination, and MARC record quality, contributing to efficient library operations and excellent patron service for CSUMB's diverse campus community on the Central Coast.

Qualifications

• Experience with acquisitions and cataloging workflows.
• Ability to prepare internal library reports and presentations.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and carry out acquisitions and procurement for materials.
• Obtain, revise, and edit bibliographic records and MARC data.
• Retrieve electronic MARC records and maintain the database.
• Create purchase orders and process vendor invoices in Alma.
• Manage serials and periodicals; identify missing items.
• Process library gift materials according to procedures.
• Track expenditures and inform selectors of available funds.
• Advise on damaged materials and coordinate rebinding.
