Monica Kaplan State Farm is seeking a driven, competitive, and sales-focused professional to join our team as an Insurance Sales Representative / Acquisitions Specialist. This is a sales-dominant position for someone who enjoys generating new business, building a pipeline, overcoming objections, and confidently asking for the sale. You’ll help prospective customers understand their insurance needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and turn opportunities into long-term customer relationships.

Licensing Requirements

Insurance licensing is required for this position. All required Property & Casualty and Life & Health licensing must be successfully obtained prior to your Day 1 start date.

Already licensed candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Candidates who are not currently licensed may still be considered if they are willing and able to complete licensing before starting.

Licensing guidance and support are available throughout the process.

What You’ll Do

• Generate new business through leads, referrals, outbound prospecting, networking, and community outreach.
• Conduct needs-based sales conversations to uncover customer needs.
• Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other insurance products.
• Build and actively manage a consistent pipeline of prospective customers.
• Follow up persistently with leads and prospects to convert opportunities into sales.
• Confidently present recommendations, overcome objections, and ask for the business.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities to provide customers with more complete protection.
• Develop referrals through strong customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sales activity and customer interactions.
• Consistently work toward individual and agency production goals.
