Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Acquisition Support Specialist for the GMOS contract supporting the Department of State. The role entails market research, sourcing IT goods/services, developing SOWs and IGCEs, and ensuring FAR compliance.

Successful candidates will manage procurement packages through government channels, coordinate with vendors and contracting officers, and maintain audit-ready records through contract lifecycle. Local travel up to 10% may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4+ years of experience in acquisition support, contract administration, procurement, or IT procurement.
• Proven experience with FAR principles, government procurement processes, and contract lifecycle management.
• Ability to develop statements of work, technical specs, and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with multi-tasking capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across vendors and government personnel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis using government methods.
• Develop SOWs, technical specs, and justification docs for procurement packages.
• Prepare cost estimates to support IGCEs with FAR compliance.
• Route packages through CA/DT/EA/CST channels for review and approvals.
• Manage complex vendor configurations and compliance constraints.
• Review vendor invoices vs contract terms and ensure payment accuracy.
• Maintain contract files through award to closeout with proper documentation.
• Procure IT hardware, software licenses, peripherals, maintenance, and services.
• Support audit responses and maintain audit-ready records.
• Verify proofs of entitlements and licenses are registered in DT/EA/CST.
