Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an Acoustic Engineer to support the PMS450 Acoustics Systems Integration Team for the VIRGINIA Class Submarine program.

You will work at the Washington Navy Yard, collaborating with the Navy and Serco stakeholders on design evaluation, risk assessment, and technical compliance. The role requires an active Secret clearance, US citizenship, a Bachelor’s in engineering, and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance and US citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Excellent communications and analytical skills; able to brief senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support PMS450 evaluation of proposed designs and arrangements.
• Review technical submittals and provide assessments with input from stakeholders.
• Lead or co-lead project reviews and briefings with the customer.
• Coordinate with NAVSEA Technical Warrant Holders and team members.
• Maintain program commitment updates and status reporting.
• Identify technical issues and facilitate timely resolutions with SITs.
• Be the primary customer contact and maintain relationships with program managers.
