Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to support the Acoustics Systems Integration Team for PMS450, the VIRGINIA Class program office, at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.

The role requires active Secret clearance, a technical engineering degree, and five years of related experience. You will evaluate designs, coordinate with Navy stakeholders, and lead discussions on cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, physics, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Excellent communications and analytical skills for briefing senior leaders.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support PMS450 evaluation of proposed designs and arrangements.
• Review technical submittals and provide assessments with input from stakeholders.
• Lead and co-lead technical discussions for project reviews and briefings.
• Act as liaison with NAVSEA Technical Warrant Holders and PMS450 team.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide acquisition management support.
