Job summary

State of Oklahoma, Claremore Veterans Home, is seeking an Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) for a full-time day shift. You will provide direct nursing care under supervision, perform vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe environment.

The role requires CMA-A certification or CMA licensing as specified, and two years of patient care experience; weekend availability is required. Competitive hourly pay with shift differential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Two years of experience providing patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct nursing tasks including taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living and hygiene needs, and obtaining certain lab specimens.
• Charts observations and activities, reporting pertinent changes in the patient’s condition.
• Escorts patients to and from various destinations.
• Orders, receives and stores supplies and performs basic clerical functions.
