Job summary

The ACH/Wire Specialist at General Electric Credit Union in Cincinnati, OH leads high‑risk daily operations for ACH processing, inclearing, returned items, and wire transfers. The role ensures accurate, timely electronic payments while complying with NACHA and banking regulations and supporting internal teams with expert knowledge.

You will provide exceptional member service, resolve issues, assist with audits and risk assessments, and collaborate across departments to maintain robust control

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of banking experience.
• NACHA certification or relevant industry cert preferred.
• Knowledge of ACH and wire transfer systems and rules.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Discretion with confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Process ACH and wire transfers per NACHA rules.
• Manage inclearing and return deposit items per policies.
• Support the Courtesy Overdraft program.
• Follow Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, NACHA Rules, Regulation E.
• Investigate and resolve issues with ACH/wire transactions.
• Assist management with audits, risk assessments, policy updates.
• Provide exceptional member service and respond to inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams as needed.
