Job summary

GTE Financial in Tampa, FL (HQ) seeks a Payment Operations Specialist to manage ACH and payroll file processing under NACHA rules and OFAC policy, and to handle domestic and international wire activity and related check processing.

The role also supports ATM/ITM, Deposit2Go, mail, lockbox, Cenlar, and member inquiries. Strong attention to detail and compliance are essential; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Some college preferred.
• 1–3 years' experience or combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Process ACH files and wire settlements per NACHA rules.
• Audit postings and reconcile daily check-in-clearing file.
• Respond to member and staff inquiries promptly via email/phone.
• Create and maintain recurring payment plans and one-time origination entries.
• Support transactions across ATM/ITM, Deposit2Go, lockbox and Cenlar.
