Job summary

Arrow Financial Corporation seeks an experienced Deposit Services ACH & Wire Assistant Manager to oversee daily ACH and wire operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and coach the ACH/Wire Specialists. The role emphasizes risk management, control improvements, and collaboration with internal departments to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities include supervising processing, risk reviews, and adherence to NACHA/National rules, with involvement in project coordination and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent banking experience required.
• 4 years banking experience preferred.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accurate and timely ACH processing including origination, RDFI, returns, reversals and exceptions.
• Oversee domestic and international wire transfer operations with issue resolution.
• Provide day-to-day coaching and performance feedback to ACH and Wire Specialists.
• Manage the annual ACH risk review process for originators and third-party processors.
• Ensure compliance with NACHA Rules, SOX, OFAC, BSA/AML and Regulation E.
• Research and implement regulatory changes to maintain compliance and support payment modernization.
• Drive fraud prevention and risk mitigation by identifying and remediating indicators and red flags.
• Support testing and team training for new payment technologies and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve workflows, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in SOX activities coordinating with auditors to strengthen internal controls.
