Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking an Education Coordinator to support accrediting bodies, student clearance, and continuing education programs.

Under supervision, you will assist in developing education activities, coordinate with internal and external partners, and maintain portals for education data and student experiences. This role emphasizes process improvements and timely, professional communication across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years clerical support experience required.
• 2 years drafting and editing professional documents and correspondence required.
• 2 years healthcare continuing education experience preferred.
• 2 years experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as resource to accredited activity coordinators to ensure proper procedures are followed and required materials are submitted in accordance with accreditation criteria.
• Assist in development and implementation of continuing education activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify educational needs of staff and align with state and national standards.
• Develop communications for internal and external announcements.
• Navigate and maintain online portals for continuing education and student clinical experience software.
• Assist with student affiliation agreements, renewals, and documentation for clinical rotations.
• Support accredited continuing education activities for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare workers.
• Provide prompt and professional support to staff, physicians, schools, students and system leaders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer and stakeholder problems; maintain clear process communication.
• Deliver training on portals and processes; identify staff development opportunities.
• Suggest changes to improve education and student clearance/placement processes and reporting.
