Job summary

UMMC is seeking an Accreditation and Program Manager for Continuing Education to oversee health-professional education programs across schools from inception through completion. You will ensure compliance with accreditation criteria, manage budgets, and coordinate logistics for high-profile events.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and strong communication skills to interact with speakers, donors, and vendors.

Qualifications

Knowledge of accreditation standards and criteria across healthcare disciplines.
Experience budgeting and cost control for large continuing education events.
Familiarity with adult learning models and educational design principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Oversee compliance with accreditation criteria and standards across disciplines.
Develop and monitor activity budgets; present budget impact at planning meetings.
Lead planning and execution of continuing education activities with minimal supervision.
Coordinate logistics: space, catering, speaker coordination, and pre-event issue resolution.
Collect and reconcile participant, credit, and financial data for reporting.
Research and write educational grant proposals to support program funding.
Incorporate adult learning principles in program design and lead related discussions.
