Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working across multiple information systems or databases

Job description

Job Summary

This position integrates quantitative and qualitative data/statistical analysis, program evaluation support, and stakeholder engagement, to aid in institutional compliance, strategic decision-making, and sustained accreditation readiness. This position is responsible for developing and managing data systems to support educational programs and compliance reporting. You will support the director of accreditation by way of institutional compliance with accreditation standards and processes; collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and institutional partners to collect accreditation data; manage, clean, and analyze accreditation datasets; and maintain accreditation documentation and reporting systems. The position also assists the Director of Accreditation with accreditation site visits, coordinating logistics, documentation, and institutional communication related to the accreditation review process.

Data Management
  • Evaluate existing data collection and reporting processes and independently develop and implement improvements to support accreditation, regulatory compliance, and institutional decision-making.
  • Manage data from multiple internal and external information systems and databases to maintain, organize, retrieve, and store relevant and timely data
  • Evaluate, clean, validate, merge, and organize datasets from internal and external systems
  • Collaborate with the Office of Institutional Analysis and other university partners to identify and obtain institutional data necessary for accreditation and program evaluation.
Assessment & Evaluation
  • Managing the collection of quantitative and qualitative data
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, compliance risks, and areas for improvement; interpret findings and develop recommendations for consideration by the Director of Accreditation and other institutional stakeholders
  • Retrieve and prepare data as needed from multiple sources
  • Coordinate and facilitate dispositional assessments and maintain professional disposition data in collaboration with the Director of Accreditation
Reporting & Compliance
  • Analyze data and create tables, charts, visualizations, and other summaries appropriate for accreditation, regulatory, and institutional audiences
  • Map assessments and data onto MDE/Accreditation standards to make a case of aligned evidence
  • Retrieve, prepare, and provide quantitative analysis of data as needed for reports
  • Support the Director of Accreditation in the development and completion of required accreditation, state, and institutional reports.
Collaboration & Coordination
  • Attend off-site annual training, as well as ongoing professional development through national and state organizations (CAEP, DARTEP, MDE, etc.)
  • Collect, organize, and manage departmental records.
  • Assist with departmental special projects and events, such as Data Day Retreats and stakeholder advisory groups
  • Coordinate accreditation site visits
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 3 or more years of relevant progressive administrative experience in K-12 or higher education administration, which may include accreditation support, program evaluation, institutional research, assessment, quality improvement, or a related area.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to off-site training and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Demonstrated experience collecting, cleaning, validating, merging, organizing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working across multiple information systems or databases.
  • Experience preparing clear tables, charts, data visualizations, and summary reports.

The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work and an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence.
