MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company in Miami seeks an Accounts Receivables Representative to drive delinquent collection efforts and maintain client relations. You will contact customers, review accounts, log payment promises, and coordinate follow-ups with overseas agents to ensure timely settlements.

The role requires on-site presence five days per week, strict adherence to timelines, and a strong customer-service mindset. Experience in credit or AR and proficiency in MS Excel are desirable.

Responsabilités

• Requests and pursues payment on delinquent accounts via communication with account holder.
• Follows established guidelines to review and update account status.
• Maintains log of payment promises and pertinent account details, schedules follow-up communication with account holder.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers.
• Provides timely and accurate response to customer inquiries and to our overseas agents.
• Follows corporate guidelines when addressing customer inquiries regarding shipments.
• Escalates unique or complex customer issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution when necessary.
• Generates potential solutions to customer issues.
• Provides feedback regarding current corporate practices and metrics to support process efficiencies.
• Presence required on‑site 5 days per week.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:

The Accounts Receivables Representative facilitates the collection of delinquent accounts, by contacting customers and requiring the payment of overdue fees.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Requests and pursues payment on delinquent accounts via communication with account holder.
• Follows established guidelines to review and update account status.
• Maintains log of payment promises and pertinent account details, schedules follow-up communication with account holder.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers.
• Provides timely and accurate response to customer inquiries and to our overseas agents.
• Follows corporate guidelines when addressing customer inquiries regarding shipments.
• Escalates unique or complex customer issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution when necessary.

This role requires working on-site in the office for five days a week, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid work in this role, unless required off‑site duties are being performed.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to commute to the designated office location.
• Presence required on‑site 5 days per week.
