Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is assisting a large global distribution leader in Libertyville, IL to hire an Accounts Receivables Manager who will lead credit strategy, AR, and related controls. This role provides direct exposure to the CFO and executive leadership and a clear path for succession.

Qualifications

• 10 years of accounting/finance experience, incl. 5+ years in credit management and collections.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent.
• Experience managing staff within credit, AR or collections functions.
• Manufacturing or distributor experience with ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve credit recommendations for new customer accounts and monitor ongoing credit risk.
• Manage collections activities, customer account reviews, delinquency follow-up and daily order release decisions.
• Oversee AR reconciliations, month-end close support, and controls related to revenue and receivables.
• Lead and develop Finance & Payroll Specialist while maintaining policies, procedures and reporting.

Accounts Receivables Manager

$95,000 to $110,000 per year plus discretionary bonus

What you will do as an Accounts Receivables Manager:

• The Accounts Receivables Manager will evaluate and approve credit recommendations for new customer accounts and monitor ongoing credit risk.
• Manage collections activities, customer account reviews, delinquency follow-up, and daily order release decisions.
• The Accounts Receivables Manager will oversee AR reconciliations, month-end close support, and financial controls related to revenue and receivables.
• Supervise Sales & Use Tax compliance, filings, audits, and reserve analysis for sales returns and allowances.
• Lead and develop the Finance & Payroll Specialistwhile maintaining policies, procedures, and operational reporting.

What we are seeking in an Accounts Receivables Manager:

• 10 years of accounting or finance experience, including 5+ years in credit management and collections.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience.
