Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN) in Western Massachusetts seeks a Revenue Cycle Supervisor to oversee and optimize revenue-related operations, analyze income streams, and prepare advanced reports. This role directly manages one of several teams including Accounts Receivable and Payment Posting.

Responsibilities include coaching staff on payer guidelines, reviewing denial codes, and implementing denial prevention strategies to improve financial performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of management experience.
• Mass Behavioral Health knowledge is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPC coding and medical terminology.
• Understanding of 5010 HIPAA transactions (837, 999, 277, 835).
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of the denial and follow-up team for timely resolution.
• Monitors aged claims and follow-up buckets with insurers and payers.
• Oversees denial management and submission of appeals necessary for timely corrections.
• Maintains documentation of follow-up and appeal activities for audit readiness.
