Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston-based company, seeks an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead the AR team and ensure accurate, timely invoicing and cash application. You will monitor aging, manage collections, and support month-end close in collaboration with Finance and Operations.

The role requires strong AR knowledge, supervisory experience, and ERP proficiency to improve processes and maintain excellent customer service in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Requires strong AR knowledge including invoicing, cash application, collections, and month-end close.
• Experience supervising or coaching AR staff with accountability for team performance.
• Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Accounts Receivable team members; assign work, monitor workload, provide training, and support consistent performance and accountability.
• Oversee the accurate and timely generation of customer invoices in accordance with contracts, sales orders, service agreements, and billing requirements.
• Monitor AR aging, collection activity, unapplied cash, deductions, and delinquent balances; escalate issues as appropriate.
• Review cash receipts and payment applications to ensure payments are recorded accurately in the ERP.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments to resolve billing disputes and account discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities with reports, reconciliations, and aging analyses.
• Develop and monitor AR metrics, identify trends and process gaps, and recommend improvements.
