Job summary

Basic Fun! is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our Boca Raton headquarters. This full-time, on-site role includes a Friday optional remote day, with focus on collecting payments and maintaining client relationships.

You will monitor accounts, investigate delinquencies, and coordinate actions to ensure timely cash flow. The ideal candidate has experience in collections, strong billing knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and databases.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of billing procedures.
• Knowledge of various collection techniques.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and databases.
• Comfortable working with targets and deadlines.
• Knowledge of collection laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts daily and identify outstanding receivables.
• Investigate historical debts and bills; locate delinquent accounts.
• Encourage timely payments and arrange repayment schedules.
• Process payments and refunds; resolve billing issues.
• Notify customers of delinquent accounts; discuss action plans.
• Prepare reports on collection activities and progress.
• Coordinate with credit and legal when necessary; maintain records.
