Easterseals Blake Foundation is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to help ensure timely reimbursement of billed charges and to support financial health across the organization. You will reconcile patient and payer accounts, review adjustments, and maintain AR payors in the EHR system, while communicating with payors on issues and supporting collections when needed.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent experience with AR background, and Spanish bilingual ability is

Qualificações

• Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or HS/GED with 3 years AR experience.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency with AR reconciliations, aging reports, and payor communications.

Responsabilidades

• Performs AR reconciliations from customer level to the general ledger.
• Reviews and prepares adjustment entries, including debit memos, credit memos, and journal entries; reviews AR aging weekly.
• Maintains all AR payors in the EHR System.
• Writes appeals and communicates with payors on reimbursement issues.
• Collaborates with Medical Billing to ensure timely funds and resubmission of denied/rejected claims.
• Prepares weekly AR status reports for management and supports audit prep.
• Assists with collections duties and suggests AR process improvements.
• Maintains professional communication within the agency and with external contacts.
