Job summary

Vaco is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional for an onsite role. You will manage day-to-day AR activities, prepare customer billing, review POs for billing, and coordinate with Project Managers.

You will monitor AR aging, follow up on past-due balances, make collection calls, and resolve billing issues while providing general accounting support. Candidates should have AR experience, exposure to manufacturing or distribution, and experience with accounting software.

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Receivable experience required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
• Experience working with Purchase Orders required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and customers.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a small, collaborative team.
• Experience with accounting or business software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities.
• Prepare and process customer billing.
• Review purchase orders to ensure all required information is available for billing.
• Work with Project Managers to obtain missing or necessary documentation.
• Review accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances.
• Make collection calls and send collection emails as needed.
• Monitor customer accounts and help resolve billing issues.
• Perform general administrative and accounting support as needed.
• Work with approximately seven Project Managers and effectively manage competing priorities.
• Shift between tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
