Job summary

Aeras MEP, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) specialist to join our growing accounting team in Senoia, GA. This role focuses on AR and will be cross-trained in AP to support a collaborative, team-based environment.

Candidates must have at least 6 months of hands-on AR experience and be able to work on-site five days a week. Responsibilities include reviewing expenses, labor hours, and supporting documentation, managing AR aging, and communicating with customers to collect

Qualifications

• 6 months AR or accounting experience.
• Must live within 30 miles of Senoia, GA.
• On-site 5 days per week.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook daily.
• Ability to follow processes and instructions exactly.
• Professional written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and support team responsibilities.
• Demonstrates ownership and follow-through.
• Able to support a fast-paced office environment with accuracy.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Review technician notes to recover missing billable expenses.
• Review labor hours for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure all invoices are supported with required documentation.
• Ensure each invoice aligns with customer billing preferences.
• File, record, and track customer invoices.
• Assist in AR aging cycles and send follow-up emails.
• Update customer communication of past due invoices.
• Audit customer files and billing requirements.
• Support the Controller with administrative tasks.
• Cross-train in Accounts Payable to support coverage.
• Review expired quotes to bill delayed service calls.
• Manage AR inbox and respond to customer requests.
• Gather and verify supporting billing documentation.
