Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing, payments, and AR records. You will work closely with families and internal teams to ensure accurate billing and timely collections in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have a two-year accounting degree or equivalent experience, AR exposure, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent experience required.
• Two years of accounting experience and data entry proficiency.
• Experience with AR, collections, accounting software, and databases preferred.
• Must maintain confidentiality and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate weekly member invoicing.
• Maintain billing information in the database.
• Process and post payments (credit cards, checks, state payments, third-party).
• Maintain AR ledger and generate reports.
• Communicate with families about invoicing and payments.
• Lead collections on past-due balances and document progress.
