Job summary

TCAT Jackson is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to support Fiscal Services at the Jackson campus. You will coordinate collections, process financial aid, handle daily cash and billing, and ensure accurate posting to student accounts.

The role requires a technical diploma or higher and at least one year in AR or related financial operations; completion of a post-secondary credential is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical diploma; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of accounts receivable or related financial operations experience.
• Three years in a post-secondary institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate collection of outstanding receivables, including delinquent accounts.
• Process, verify, and distribute financial aid funds per policy.
• Manage payment receipting and daily cash handling.
• Prepare and issue invoices for accounts receivable billing.
• Post entries for cash management and account adjustments.
• Monitor student charges and coordinate third-party funding.
• Facilitate student purchases with approved external vendors.
• Prepare deposits for bookstore and registration operations.
• Apply payments and credits to accounts; ensure timeliness.
• Support audits, reconciliations, and reporting.
