Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is hiring for a customer service/operations role in Michigan. The position covers recapping shipments, quoting and invoicing, and ensuring compliant routing.

You will interact with customers, dispatch, and various stations while handling high-volume communications daily. Ideal candidates have 1 year of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to manage multiple tasks with precision is essential.

Responsibilities

• Recapping shipments – collecting transport expenses and pricing per tariffs or quotes
• Answering Customer Service Calls
• Quoting, costing and invoicing domestic shipments, air and ground
• Preparing paperwork for routing and document dispatch
• Communicating freight status to stations and customers and updating the system
• Communicating to dispatch for customer pickups
• Ensuring TSA/KSMS and other regulatory compliance with booking/routing of shipments
• Data entry of shipments into the transportation management system
• Uploading documents to the Document Management System
• Other duties as assigned
