Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC seeks an Operations Support professional to manage freight forwarding shipments across multiple modes, ensuring high-level operational excellence and superior service for customers. The role focuses on recapping shipments, quoting and invoicing, and coordinating with dispatch and stations.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of customer service or operations experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or operations preferred (1 year)
• Must have financial acumen and invoicing/payables experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment, handling emails and calls
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry into systems

Responsibilities

• Recapping shipments and accounting related to shipments
• Answering customer service calls
• Quoting, costing and invoicing of domestic shipments, air and ground
• Preparing paperwork for routing and timely filing
• Communicating freight status to customers and dispatch
• Data entry into transportation management system and document management system
• Other duties as assigned
