Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial record keeping methods, typically gained by two accounting courses and one year of experience or more.
• Experience researching and compiling financial information and preparing summaries and reports; use of computers to enter, retrieve, and edit financial data.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, research, forecast, and reconcile complex financial documents.
• Process and record vendor invoices and payments through various accounts payable applications.
• Conduct reconciliations of daily financial activity and balance journal entries prior to posting.
• Review, complete and process financial documents to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies for approval.
• Obtain knowledge of the organization's programs and financial requirements to prepare, reconcile, and balance financial transactions.
• Requires strong skills using computer systems to develop and maintain records, documents, and financial data.
• Accurately code transactions into a variety of financial transaction systems.
