Job summary

Meritum Energy Holdings is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk to process customer payments, maintain accurate account records, and assist with outstanding balances. This role works closely with the Accounting Coordinator to ensure timely payments and accurate posting.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams while maintaining confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
• Experience in accounts receivable, collections, bookkeeping, administrative support, or customer service preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process and apply customer payments and maintain payment records.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Support billing inquiries and resolve account discrepancies.
• Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and update information as needed.
• Communicate with customers regarding balances and payment status.
