Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years' collections experience
• Ability to use confidential information in a professional manner to achieve collections targets/goals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet

Responsibilities

• Identify outstanding debts across assigned accounts and plan recovery actions
• Make heavy calls to customers to obtain payment status and negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve questions or complaints while maintaining good customer relationships
• Update account status and database regularly and alert supervisors of non-paying customers
