Job summary

Cintas is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to manage all AR functions for assigned accounts, identify outstanding debts, and plan actions to recover payments. The role involves heavy phone activity with customers, contacting debtors on payment status, and negotiating payoff deadlines or payment plans while addressing questions and discrepancies.

You will update account status in the database and alert supervisors of customers unwilling or unable to pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (required).
• 2+ years' collections experience (required).
• Ability to use confidential information in a professional manner to achieve collections targets/goals (required).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet (required).

Responsibilities

• Handle all accounts receivable related functions for assigned accounts.
• Identify outstanding debts and plan actions to recover payments.
• Maintain heavy phone activity with customers and contact debtors.
• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans and resolve discrepancies.
• Update account status and database regularly and alert supervisors of non-payers.
• Ensure compliance with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.
