Alsco Uniforms seeks an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Lanham, MD. The role supports the Office Manager by collecting and maintaining charge accounts per policy and resolving A/R issues with strong communication.

Candidate will process payments, monitor aging, and provide management with regular collection updates. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and solid team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office, with emphasis on Excel spreadsheets summarizing aging/past due accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, especially over the phone.
• Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Great organizational and multi-tasking abilities; detail oriented.
• Experience pressing into action collection efforts.

Responsabilités

• Process customer payments according to policy.
• Monitor accounts for non-payment, skipped invoices, and partial payments.
• Provide regular status updates on collections to management.
• Organize recovery and initiate collection efforts.
• Complete monthly/quarterly closing statements and create reports.
• Communicate with customers to arrange payment on delinquent accounts.
• Investigate and resolve inquiries; report findings to management.
