I Halper Paper & Supplies Inc. seeks an Accounts Receivable Associate to support all AR functions in a professional office environment in Bayonne, NJ. You will post payments, handle inquiries, and assist with collections and credit memos while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires 2+ years in AR, high school diploma, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, and strong communication and detail-oriented skills. Monday–Friday, 9–5 with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years in Accounts Receivable, including collections with sales teams and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Prepare bank deposits.
• Post checks and credit card payments to customer accounts.
• Correct discrepancies on invoices from deliveries.
• Answer AR phone and email inquiries.
• Collections: contact customers on past-due invoices.
• Prepare debit and credit memos for claims and deductions.
• Maintain accurate AR records and support team goals.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.
