Apex International is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This full-time, on-site role handles invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring timely payment and accurate account maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Aufgaben

• Process customer invoices, credit memos, and account statements accurately and timely.
• Apply customer payments and reconcile cash receipts, deductions, and account balances.
• Monitor aging reports and perform collection activities on past-due accounts.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, chargebacks, and deductions.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate unapplied cash and account variances.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Shipping, and Finance to resolve customer account concerns.
• Support customer credit maintenance, account setup, and documentation requirements.
• Assist with month-end close activities, reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain complete and accurate account records and audit documentation.
• Identify process improvements that enhance controls, efficiency, and cash flow.
