Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support billing accuracy, protect cash flow, and uphold financial accountability.

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will ensure proper billing to funding sources, record payments, process journal entries, and reconcile aging reports while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in accounting or business preferred.
• 1–3 years accounts receivable or related accounting/office experience.
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently under deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Maintain census and billing records with program staff.
• Maintain accurate client and billing files.
• Resolve billing issues and discrepancies with management.
• Enter billings and cash receipts into the accounting system.
• Generate and analyze AR aging reports.
• Follow up on aging accounts and bring issues to management.
• Ensure timely billing and cash flow.
