Job summary

Dot Foods seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Mt. Sterling, IL to accurately process customer deductions and resolve discrepancies for correct cash collection. You will work with Customer Service and Outside Sales to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will post credits, perform general accounting tasks, and follow standard procedures while applying lean thinking to reduce waste. Mon-Fri 8am-5pm; $16.53-$23.55 hourly with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills including ten-key, keyboarding, Excel and Word.
• Accurate mathematical skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer deductions from Dot invoices.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Outside Sales to resolve deductions.
• Collect unauthorized deductions and pursue payment with customers.
• Perform general accounting tasks including credits, GL postings, and other transactions.
• Follow standard work and work instructions.
• Apply lean thinking to identify and eliminate waste.
