Job summary

EMSAR - Equipment Management Service and Repair, headquartered in Wilmington OH, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist I to support our rapid growth. You will handle external vendor and internal manager inquiries, collect payments, and maintain accurate records across locations, while generating reports on financials as needed.

The role requires 3+ years in AR or similar, proficiency with MS Office/Excel, and solid GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
• Data entry with accuracy and attention to numbers.
• Understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Respond to external vendors and internal managers regarding all aspects of the accounts receivable process.
• Research information to provide accurate and timely solutions to internal clients and vendors at multiple locations.
• Communicate with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans.
• Collect payment from customers and accurately record it into the system.
• Create reports and balance sheets documenting profits and losses as needed.
• Update client accounts based on payment or contact information.
• Duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software
• Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach for long periods for time exceeding 4hours.
