You will review accounts for past-due invoices, communicate payment status with customers, document collection efforts, and reconcile discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Prior AR/Finance experience preferred.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business beneficial but not mandatory.

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The specialist will manage customer invoicing, monitor outstanding balances, and ensure timely collection of payments. Daily activities include reviewing accounts for past‑due invoices, communicating with customers regarding payment status, and documenting all collection efforts in the system. The role also involves reconciling accounts, resolving billing discrepancies, and collaborating with internal teams such as finance and customer service to maintain accurate records. The specialist will follow established policies and procedures while suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and a solid understanding of Finance.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Debt Collection and handling past‑due accounts.
• Candidates should possess experience with Invoicing and basic accounting or bookkeeping processes.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting or ERP software (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is beneficial.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts remotely are required.
• Prior experience in accounts receivable, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline is beneficial but not mandatory.
