JOB TITLE : Accounts Receivable Specialist GENERAL SUMMARY OF

DUTIES

The insurance billed is responsible for processing all insurance claims, i.e., private, Medicare, workers' compensation,PPO and HMO, including secondary claims. All claims will be coded with CPT and ICD-10 codes according to the findings in the medical record. The claims will be mailed to the third-party payers. General duties include verification of benefits monthly statements to patients EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Medical terminology and coding courses.
• One to three years experience in health care industry with third party reimbursement, coding and collections and public contact.
