Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow-up on unpaid claims including denied and held claims.
• Perform denial review and resolution, corrected claims, and denial appeals.
• Post payments and handle contractual write-offs and other adjustments.
• Assist with secondary billing as needed.
• Utilize EHR systems to document activities and outcomes.

JOB SUMMARY:

The AccountsReceivable Specialist will follow-up on unpaid claims including denied and held claims, denial review and resolution, corrected claims, denial appeals, payment posting as requested, contractual write offs and other adjustments, secondary billing. This position is on-site only.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acute attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate MS Office (Word & Excel) skills.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Health Record Systems (EHR), preferably Evolv or iCare Manager.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of medical billing experience.

SALARY:

• $27.71 per hour.
