Job summary

Belcan in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the AR function, investigate discrepancies, and process invoices submitted to customer portals. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and attention to accuracy.

Hybrid work schedule available: combination of in-office days and occasional remote Fridays when workload allows. A Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of customer service experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Job Title : Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location : Pittsburgh, PA 15201

Duration : 11+ Months

Key Responsibilities:

Support corporate Accounts Receivable (AR) function by providing documentation, researching AR discrepancies, determining root causes. Submit invoice copies to various customer portals

Process credits and close applicable tickets. Maintain and update customer AR contacts.

Effectively complete daily tasks to ensure that the Aerospace Business Solutions group achieves their primary goals and established KPIs related to accounts receivable functions.

Ensures good working relationships are being maintained and responses are being made promptly to all requests to minimize delays in accounts receivable collections.

Utilize software i.e., QAD, Oracle, Client link, Laserfiche, Excel, various customer portals.

Remain knowledgeable of regulations related to international orders and changes that impact processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma and 3 Plus years Customer Service Experience or equivalent in experience.

Hybrid work schedule available: Combination of in PPG GO office &1 day remote work (Friday’s if work allows)

Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times.

Previous customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong interpersonal skills - to communicate effectively with internal customers at all levels (business principals, senior management, purchasing personnel, product users).
