Job summary

Cooper Auto Group, based in Edmond, OK, is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our corporate offices. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with duties including posting cash receipts, processing incentives, and reconciling AR schedules to support accurate financial reporting.

Ideal candidates will have AR/AP experience in automotive retail, CDK and ADP familiarity, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• AR/AP experience in automotive retail.
• CDK and ADP experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Post daily cash receipts, credit card payments, and EFTs to the general ledger.
• Review retail vehicle deals and process manufacturer incentives, contracts, and funding paperwork.
• Reconcile accounts receivable schedules, identify discrepancies, and resolve billing issues.
• Assist with monthly closing procedures, financial reporting, and digital document filing/scanning.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, lenders, and internal managers regarding balances.

Job Description

Cooper Auto Group has immediate openings for an Accounts Receivable Specialist at our corporate offices in Edmond, OK. Hours are Mon - Fri 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Post daily cash receipts, credit card payments, and electronic funds transfers (EFT) accurately to the general ledger.
• Review retail vehicle deals and process manufacturer incentives, contracts, and funding paperwork.
• Reconcile accounts receivable schedules, identify discrepancies, and resolve billing issues.
• Assist with monthly closing procedures, financial reporting, and digital document scanning/filing.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, lending institutions, and internal department managers regarding outstanding balances.

Qualifications

• AR / AP experience in automotive retail preferred
• CDK and ADP experience preferred
• Self-motivated and able to effectively prioritize tasks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Able to pass pre-employment background check
