Job summary

Good Source Solutions is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the Finance & Accounting team in Carlsbad, CA. This role focuses on cash applications, customer collections, discrepancy resolution, and AR reporting to support accurate financial operations.

Qualifications

2+ years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience.
Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, cash applications, collections, and general accounting practices.
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and financial data analysis.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post daily cash receipts to customer accounts.
Process customer credit card payments and ensure proper application of funds.
Investigate and resolve short payments, deductions, and payment discrepancies.
Maintain accurate customer account records, invoices, and documentation.
Generate weekly and monthly customer statements.
Assist with rebate administration, tracking and reconciliation.
Monitor aged receivables and assist with collections as needed.
Collaborate with Sales to resolve deductions and approve quotes per credit procedures.
