Quipt Home Medical, Corp. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to handle daily financial transactions and postings within our billing system. You will work with cash, checks, EFTs, and third-party payers, ensuring accurate recording and timely deposits.

The role requires attention to detail, strong data entry, and effective communication to resolve discrepancies and support accounts receivable processes across departments.

Qualificações

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum six months in a medical related field and/or training.
• Professional, proactive and positive with customers and coworkers.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily incoming transactions (cash, checks, EFTs) from patients and payers.
• Process one-time credit card transactions.
• Record all transactions in billing software via auto/manual posting.
• Gather daily data for posting and share with team.
• Create and complete various routine reports.
• Review reversals and refunds before routing to departments.
• Review Explanation of Benefits for coverage changes.
• Ensure monies and adjustments post correctly and timely.
• Report discrepancies to management or correct them.
• Balance deposits and postings daily and at month end.
• Inform management of changes affecting accounts receivable.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Notify management of software issues and follow up.
• Sort and distribute daily mail.
• Make daily bank deposits electronically; occasionally in person.
• Maintain physical and electronic transaction records.
• Rotate/move records by deposit date.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
