Ahern in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the AR team within the Accounting Department, directing collections, cash application, aging management, and processes to improve cash flow and risk management.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in accounting, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, GAAP proficiency, advanced Excel, and ERP experience; strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; 5+ years progressive accounting/finance experience; strong GAAP knowledge; ERP systems experience; capable of leading accounting teams; excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Lead Accounts Receivable team within Accounting Department and drive performance, development, and results.
Oversee collections, cash application, aging management, write-offs, and third-party collections.
Develop metrics, monitor trends, and provide insights to improve cash flow and control risk.
Support month-end/year-end close, audits, and financial reporting; lead AR system improvements.
