Job summary

Nearmap is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead and develop the AR team, oversee daily activities, and drive accurate financial reporting. The role emphasizes process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to GAAP within a hybrid, global team environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in accounting with 5+ years supervisory experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Great Plains. BA/BS preferred.

Qualifications

• AA or AS in Accounting or Business Administration with emphasis in accounting; three years accounting-related experience; five years supervisory experience.
• Proficient knowledge of accounting theories; strong Excel and Word; familiarity with Great Plains preferred.
• Able to interact with multiple levels of employees; strong leadership and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Accounts Receivable activities; produce financial reports and manage a range of accounting tasks.
• Attend performance reviews, develop goals, and manage workflow to meet department objectives.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant reporting and assist in general ledger queries and reconciliations.
