Vance-Granville Community College is seeking a Lead Accounting Technician to manage accounts receivable tasks for the Business Services Department. The role includes processing sponsor invoices, student refunds, and reimbursements, with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications include an associate degree or coursework in accounting/finance and 3–5 years of related experience; proficiency in Excel/Word and Datatel is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

• Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily operational support to Accounting Technician-Student Accounts and Accounting Technician-Collections.
• Serve as primary backup for daily receipts, deposits, and invoicing.
• Process accounts receivable billing verification and resolve errors weekly.
• Monitor and resolve unallocated payments daily.
• Prepare sponsor invoices and refunds; assist with sponsor account reconciliations.
