You will guide seven AR specialists, standardize workflows, and drive cash application and lockbox integration. The role emphasizes leadership, training, and delivering reliable AR reporting in a growing accounting team.

Qualifications

• Approximately five years of accounts receivable experience, with flexibility based on the candidate’s overall background.
• Supervisory, team leadership, or experience providing guidance and training to others.
• Experience improving accounting processes and working with financial systems; ERP or billing software experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, training, and day-to-day support to seven AR specialists across multiple markets.
• Identify opportunities to improve and standardize AR processes, including customer credit approvals, delinquent account procedures, and collections workflows.
• Lead efforts to streamline cash application and improve integration between banking lockboxes, billing software, and accounting systems.
• Troubleshoot daily AR issues, reconcile accounts, assist with customer inquiries, and support accounts receivable reporting.
• Train sales teams and new AR employees on billing procedures, account coding, and delinquency review processes.
