Job summary

Gelmart International / Rafar Group seeks an Accounts Receivable Lead to keep customer accounts accurate, apply payments, and actively manage past-due balances. This hands-on leadership role combines transaction processing with team oversight and process improvement.

You will supervise one AR Support member, resolve discrepancies with customers and internal teams, and drive cash flow through efficient AR workflows, leveraging ERP systems and AI-enabled tools where appropriate.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of AR experience including cash application and reconciliation.
• Experience supervising or training a support team member.
• Experience with month-end close and AR subledger reconciliation.
• Clear, professional communication for overdue balances and billing issues.
• Strong Excel, reconciliation, and data analysis skills.
• Experience with factoring, asset-based lending, or chargebacks is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP/reporting tools such as Dynamics 365 BC or NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments to invoices, reconcile remittance details, and research unapplied cash.
• Manage aging and collections for factored and non-factored receivables; coordinate with factors.
• Submit invoices and credits to factors; provide remittances and support to clear invoices.
• Reconcile factor statements and AR to GL; address audit requests with the Senior Accounting Manager.
• Assign daily work to AR Support, train, and ensure coverage during absences.
• Learn AR systems and reporting tools; improve cash application and reconciliation workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities and validate outputs with AI tools; maintain data security.
• Own weekly EOS scorecard updates for AR measures and report exceptions to the team.
